This writing tracker database can be easily integrated into your current workflow, or left on its own as a handy way of tracking how much you write, for how long, and how often.
You can set your own target word count goal or time goal, and the template will calculate your remaining time and word count as you update it. It can also calculate your average words per hour.
This database includes:
a pre-formatted daily writing template with a place for writing sprints/sessions and a to-do list
a place to record and track your word count and plan your daily target
a place for tracking the time spent writing for more nebulous writing goals like outlining and revising
designed to allow for different daily targets, but you can customize the template to auto-fill a repeating daily threshold if that is your preference.
a selection of pre-made views for allowing you to focus on word count, focus on time, combine the two, or a monthly format that can easily be duplicated so you can see your progress month-by-month
Note: the formulas for the words/hour assumes that you will be entering your time in minutes, and will need to be adjusted if you track something else (by hours, number of sprints, etc).
You'll receive a link to the template, and from there you can duplicate it to your own Notion workspace to start using it.
